Originally from Yorkshire, I trained at the University College of Osteopathy, the oldest and largest school of osteopathy in Europe, where I gained a Masters in Osteopathy. I also have a Diploma in Sports and Remedial Massage and qualified in Western Medical Acupuncture and Shockwave Therapy.

I firmly believe in the importance of treating pain and injury while also creating strong, resilient bodies that are protected from injury in the future. We all have the potential to perform exercise, movement, and day-to-day tasks without the fear of injury and I’m keen to inspire this ability and confidence in patients.

I have sailed extensively, obtaining my Yachtmaster Certificate, spending many years racing on the Solent and then offshore races for days at a time. I’ve competed in Cowes Week, qualifying events for major offshore races and then the Fastnet Race. I have completed two transatlantic voyages - Rio de Janeiro to Cape Verde and then a race from Cape Town to Salvador in Brazil. Amazing trips which included a mid-Atlantic swim off the boat! It was also the quickest – the water was 4500m deep!!
